We started the our first full day in Tennessee with some shopping and sight seeing. Cades Cove is a beautiful area of the Great Smoky Mountains. The last time we drove through Cades Cove, we were blessed with a Bear sighting. The scary thing that time was that Darwin was on a rented motorcycle when we saw that bear - I was more than a bit nervous.
This year we drove through Cades Cove and did not see any bears. Beautiful scenery, some horses, deer and turkeys - but no bears this time.
After our drive, we stopped at a cute little restaurant/gift shop. Amie tried Nehi Grape Soda for the first time & she liked it! :)
Another place we stopped was a shop with a very interesting doorway....
Amie was really unsure about going into that door!
After a long day of shopping - it was time for a bubble bath! The whirl pool tub made some of the best bubbles ever!
