One of my sisters is now going to attempt to undo the 14 years of damage these two (as well as the biological mother) have done to this young lady. They are going to give her what she needs and deserves - parents that LOVE her and want what is best for her. They will have their hands full, but God is on their side & I am so very thankful for her and her husband for taking on this noble duty.
My brother & sister-in-law(s) have dealt with DCFS for just about the entire time these kids have been alive. If any expert begins to doubt their stories, they move on to the next one, crafting and weaving more than a decade of lies and deceit. After the current incident (which resulted in both of them being arrested and my niece being taken into protective custody), we learned that in the past 2 years DCFS has been called on them EIGHT times!! Prior to this current incident, our brother tried to convince everyone it was just us (well mostly me) that was causing him trouble with DCFS - but I have had no contact with him or his kids during that entire time (not by my choice, but by his because he needed to continue hiding his abuse).
Their current story is that the neighbors couldn't possibly have seen anything and my niece is mentally ill with RAD (Reactive Attachment Disorder) - of course not caused by them, but caused by the biological mother. I don't care if she does have RAD (although I think it is just their excuse right now) - you DON'T BEAT YOUR KIDS --- or do any of the other stuff that is alleged!!
I hate you both - I hope you are reading this! You disgust me as parents and as human beings! I hope you both wind up in jail for a long time!
My bigger wish is that Alex is away from you both forever and starts to heal. I also hope that someone can get Donavan out of your home - because you don't deserve to parent any child. He doesn't deserve to live in the hell that you put these kids through!
Our father would be absolutely disgusted with your behavior. RIP Dad, I know this would break your heart if you were still alive.
